Paula, planner from Beau Tied Events in Austin, Texas, says of the styling:
“I plan a lot of weddings that are geared toward bohemian aesthetics and I really wanted to create a soft, romantic and whimsical shoot to show case this style fitted for a early spring wedding soiree in a teepee!”
Sounds fun! We love the setups in the tent, how warm and intimate the space is, and being able to go play outside in the wind, then come back in when it gets too chilly.

I went with some neutral and earthy tones. Colors of forest green, shades of blush pink, pale pink, light taupe and a soft gray. Indie House Event teepee along with Birch and Brass vintage rentals gives an overall perfectly intimate and relaxing vibe for any boho bride.
I love the idea of having a lot of greenery around the spring time and 3 Of Cups Design and Florals brought in a mix of foraged greens from her backyard with some cacti to complete the installation for the ceremony and sweetheart table backdrop.
The table we dressed with bark as a base and filled with the same various blooms and cacti for a unique and organic centerpiece. I added some birch and brass wooden candle holders to bring in a more romantic mood. Set with gold rimmed chargers, dinner plates and gold silverware for two to make it feel simple and still elegant.
Grassdale is the home to local florist Gretchen, of Petals, Ink. Her property is on the Texas Blackland Prairie, and provided the land for the Indie House Events teepee.
Besides managing the land and growing blooms, Gretchen raises two miniature donkeys named Burrito and Nacho.
Knowing that invitations are the first thing that people see I really wanted give a good perspective with a guided map for guests to get excited about celebrating in a teepee on a farm land.

Feathers and Frosting served miniature Earl Grey cakes paired with a Groom’s chocolate lavender cake.
The main wedding cake, inspired by the patterns in our seating vignette, features a simple geometric design.
The bouquet incorporated blooms of pink roses, dahlias, winter privet berries and a single protea wrapped in blush and ivory silk ribbons.
A pulled back braided head crown with babies breath flowers added the perfect bohemian touch on a windy day.
